What is a whitelist?

A white list is a list of email addresses (or emails from a whole domain name like myname.com) which automatically get put into your Inbox and never go into your junk mail folder. Basically it`s a way of telling your email "I never want messages from this person to go into my junk mail folder".

The below explains how to add email addresses (or emails from a whole domain name like myname.com) to your whitelist.

THE EASY WAY

Logging Into Your Email

Firstly, you will need to login to webmail at www.ph9mail.co.uk using your username & password (provided to you in your welcome pack).




Adding a Sender to your Whitelist

Firstly, click on the inbox icon located on the left of your screen.



Then select the sender you wish to add to your whitelist.



Right click on their email and press, Add to whitelist.





THE MORE ADVANCED WAY

Logging Into Your Email

Firstly, you will need to login to webmail at www.ph9mail.co.uk using your username & password (provided to you in your welcome pack).





Accessing Your Whitelist

To get into the settings for your email, you will need to click on the button in the navigation bar called Options.




On the left hand side you will see a navigation bar, which will have an option called Mail, click on this so it expands and then click on Whitelist.




Adding Senders/Domains To Your Whitelist

Then click on the button Add Sender/Domain, this will make a box appear where you can input the senders email, or the domain of people you want your spam filter to let through.



When you have entered the email/domain, click Ok.
You can see a list of emails/domains in your whitelist in the table above.
