My category choice is not saving | |
ScenarioYou have the antiques.co.uk integration enabled on your website. You are adding or updating an item, and you go to the "Marketplaces / third party sites" tab and in the antiques.co.uk you pick an antiques.co.uk category to put your item in but when you save, it hasn't saved. Why this happens and what to do about itThis usually happens when you have picked a main category, not a sub category. For example, you can not pick "Antique Advertising" as a category, and must pick a category underneath this such as "British Advertising". If the category has lines underneath it, or doesn't start with a hyphen then that would mean it is a main category. Another example would be trying to pick "Antique Furniture". You can't pick this as a category. Instead, look beneath it and you'll find plenty of sub categories such as "Chairs" or "Cabinets". Pick one of these instead for your item. |
