Scenario

Facebook (or Instagram) is showing an old image, or old product info (title, price etc) when you share a product.

You've tried all the usual things like force refreshing the page, clearing caches on your device etc, but nothing seems to work

 

Solution

This usually happens because Facebook/Instagram (aka Meta) itself actually stores a cache of information on pages (products) that have been shared before.

There's a simple way to find out if this has happened, and to clear Facebook's cache.
